Title: The EU projects bringing AI to the edge

In this talk, Rozenn will introduce two projects she is working on. The first is the FP7 European project GRAISearch on the Use of Graphics Rendering and Artificial Intelligence for Improved Mobile Search Capabilities. The second is the H2020 project BonsEyes on Artificial Intelligence Marketplace.

Biography:
Prof. Rozenn Dahyot is Associate Professor in Statistics in Trinity College Dublin and is an Investigator with the ADAPT Centre for Digital Content Technology.
She has been the coordinator of the FP7 European project GRAISearch on the Use of Graphics Rendering and Artificial Intelligence for Improved Mobile Search Capabilities (2014-2018) and is the TCD Principal Investigator in the H2020 project BonsEyes on Artificial Intelligence Marketplace (2016-19). Since 2014, Prof. Dahyot is the President of the Irish Pattern Recognition and Classification Society (iprcs.org) that oversees the yearly conference in Ireland on Machine Vision and Image Processing (imvip.ie), and is leading the bid to organize the European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO) in Dublin in August 2021. Her research interests are in mathematics and statistics applied to pattern recognition, signal processing, computer vision and sensor fusion.
